Laminar X-1 Lite

Project Description

Welcome to our Build First .. Read later tutorial. This tutorial is for newcomers to PlaneMaker, and is designed to demonstrate the basic process of building a flyable aircraft in PlaneMaker. In it, we introduce some aerodynamic concepts and how those are modeled using PlaneMaker. Shown below is what you'll be building, a simplified 'LITE' version of Bell's X-1 aircraft. We took a lot of liberties with the design to keep things simple and to make it easy to fly in X-Plane. So no supersonic stuff here!

As the title of the tutorial suggests, this tutorial is about the mechanics of creating the aircraft for X-Plane and not having to read anything first. This means you might have more questions than answers as you follow along. So while we do not explain things in detail in this tutorial, we do try to direct you to proper documents where you can read later!

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem
